Beneath our feet, in the soil, there is an invisible network that resembles the internet but is immensely older: the wood wide web. Mycorrhizal fungi and roots weave relationships of exchange, mutual support and danger signalling.

dMRV protocols make it possible to monitor ecological and social impacts of a project in a distributed and transparent way;
Holochain provides a digital architecture in which data is not centralised but rooted in the nodes of the network, just like in an ecosystem.
In this way, technology behaves like a diffused nervous system in service of regeneration:
It gathers signals from the territory (soil, water, biodiversity, human interactions);

What is DAO?
DAO is digital organization that operate through decentralized technologies. It is typically run by a group of stakeholders who use consensus-based decision-making to govern the organization. Because DAOs are decentralized, they can operate more transparently and efficiently than traditional organizations. They also allow for greater participation and ownership by members, who can earn rewards for contributing to the organization's growth and success.
How Permaculture Dao works and what is the Liquid Democracy
Permaculture Dao community is happy to get to know the creator of the projects it finances, directly or in another form, to be determined on a case by case basis, and step by step. This can be negotiated on a project basis. The creator and other third parties can develop, depending on the funding amounts and the nature of the project. Usually, Permaculture Dao finances projects through agreements, negotiations and votes that come from local communities, stakeholders, local groups, host universities, DeFi platforms, etc. Getting closer to describing the voting process itself it is necessary to introduce the entities partaking.
Project Owners {O} are the people that have submitted a proposal. Anybody can submit a proposal but must pay a little fee to avoid spam.
Voting committees {C} are people that are willing to help with the voting process. They are responsible for generating a voting public key together and announcing the voting result once a voting epoch ends.
Voters {V} lock an amount of their stake to participate. Their vote is weighted according to their locked up stake.
Experts {E} are a special type of voters that have expertise in some field. Anybody can register as an expert.
Anybody can submit a proposal for funding and become a project owner. Anybody that owns a stake can register as a voter or an expert. Some of the voters will “randomly” get the option to become a voting committee member. The treasury system serves the purpose of distributing funds to different projects within Permaculture Dao and to legitimize the decision making process in a decentralized way. Every people will be able to submit proposals. Users will be able to vote on the different proposals either directly or by choosing a delegate to cast a vote on their behalf. This hybrid of direct and representative democracy is called liquid democracy.
